Went to an interesting day at the British Library, a Becta one day conference on HCI and accessibility. Several interesting talks, one on IBM's work on voice recognition post Via voice was extremely hopeful altho' I've heard that sort of hope before and it has not always come to fruition.
Another on a product called Quorum - an excellent tool for sharing / group work with graphics tablets and a wall display. Might be good for maths.
May be possible for some joint work. Think of a proposal!
Can be used remotely too. A product called Dasher for predictive typing for those with difficulties using a keyboard. Can go up to 25 words per minute which isnt too bad. Might download and try it.
Finally, early presentation was useful as it had an interesting triangle on it about usability. Talked to the author - very interesting discussion.
